Sales - Post-Acute Solutions

Ankota is hiring proven, successful sales people to sell the company’s Healthcare Delivery Managementtm  solution to post-acute providers. Candidates should have a verifiable track record of sales success, and thrive in a fast paced, high growth, competitive and fun environment.

Candidates should love to prospect and have significant experience selling turnkey software solutions to post-acute providers, including but not limited to Home Health Care, Physical Therapy (PT/OT/ST), Infusion Nursing, Private Duty Home Care, HME/DME, and Behavioral Health.  

Understanding of performance management concepts or workflow-based tools is a plus. Experience selling Allscripts, McKesson, Cerner, Homecare Homebase, CareAnywhere, Brightree or other similar software products also valued.

Sales - Care Transitions Solutions

Ankota looking for proven, successful sales people to sell the company’s Enterprise Healthcare Delivery Managementtm  solutions to large, strategic accounts. In this new era of reform and Accountable Care, Ankota’s vision and technology are leading the way. If you have a proven record of high sales performance and are passionate about helping Health Systems, ACOs and payers to reduce readmissions and improve outcomes, while lowering overall costs, then this might be the ultimate opportunity for you.

Candidates should have a successful record of managing large, complex sales cycles and leading internal teams to win deals. Experience selling health care software applications is required.  Understanding of Population Health, Care Transitions initiatives, Accountable Care and Community Based care delivery is required.

Director - Business Development

Ankota is looking for a proven, successful business development pro.  Reporting directly to the CEO, you will design the company’s partner strategy and develop new partnerships that drive revenue consistent with that strategy. Partnerships will support both Post-acute and Enterprise Solutions. Business development experience and familiarity with indirect channels and OEM models is required. Healthcare IT background, familiarity with EMRs, post-acute solutions, analytics, and care coordination technologies is preferred. Understanding of Population Health, Care Transitions initiatives, Accountable Care and Community Based care delivery is important.

Director of Professional Services

Reports directly to Chief Technology Officer –

  • Responsible for managing customer implementations 
  • Develop Project Plans for tracking progress with customers 
  • Hold project implementation meetings with the customer, typically once or twice a week to guide the implementation. 
  • Track “in-scope” vs. “out-of-scope” functionality on a project by project basis so that we can determine either “work-arounds” or enhancement charges and their impact on schedules. 
  • Balance timing and resources between projects and escalate when timing conflicts arise. 
  • Develop specifications for out of scope features and manage the development efforts. 
  • When new features are completed, work with the customer and internal personnel to “train-the-trainer.” 
  • For Live Customers, managing issue and enhancement requests. 
  • Customer Focused – Excellent Customer Relationship Skills. 
  • Works closely with Sales – providing demos and scoping implementation. 
  • Strong interpersonal & writing skills.  

Technical Background –

  • Software development knowledge (the application is primarily developed in C#, .NET and SQL Server).  Programming skills are a plus but not absolutely required.  
  • The more important ability is to understand the existing functionality, try to work with the customer to use out of the box capabilities and when not possible to identify gaps and lead the development to close the gaps. 

Project Management skills – 

  • Specification of Forms, Reports, or System Enhancements. 
  • Assist in Implementation & Configuration of new Clients, including the development of customer specific quick reference guides. 
  • Lead a Support Team (Maintain and prioritize support list) and take client calls as needed. 
  • Manage an Outsourced Development Team. 

Exposure to Healthcare preferred, but not required. 

Location in either the Baltimore or Boston areas preferred, but NOT required. 

Optional – Experience with Salesforce.com, and/or Zendesk.
