Our company name is derived from the etymology of the word Ankota. Native Americans use the word Ankota to describe a healing tree with a complex root structure. From the medicinal qualities of the tree we derive our connection to health care. From the root structure and the literal translation of Ankota to mean "many paths" we make the connection to our mission of improving the delivery of health care outside of the hospital setting.
