          Ankota releases Public API for Home Care, LTSS and Day Services

          Ankota, a leading provider of software solutions for managing home care, EVV, adult day services and LTSS has announced the release of a Public Application Programming Interface (API) for enterprise integration.  The API documentation is available at apidocs.ankota.net. The API enables enterprise class customers to connect their other systems  to Ankota. For example, a company using BambooHR, Viventium, Paylocity for HR or SalesForce.com for CRM or HubSpot for lead capture can easily make a connection that will feed employee or client information into Ankota electronically. 

          "As Ankota welcomes more and more enterprise-sized customers in addition to our small to mid-sized base, we're seeing increased demand for integration with other best-of-breed systems. This API makes those connections easier and allows companies with IT skills to make the connections on their own," explained Ankota CEO Ken Accardi. 

          The initial API release enables integration for care / service recipients (patients), care providers / clinicians (workers), and visits / shifts, to be entered or updated from other system. These are the foundational people and processes managed in home care and day services. 

          As this capability evolves, there will be more services connected and a more low-code / no code tools connected (like Zapier, which enables integration without coding).

          API Primer

          For non-technical readers, an API enables software from different companies to be connected with one another. This is how you're able to have Google Maps integrated into your company website or to pay with credit card or PayPal on commerce websites.
