Do What Others Won't - This week's Monday Moore Mantra

Welcome-AnkotaCares-2Ankota COO, Sara Moore, has created a few initiatives to spark conversations about community in the home care industry.  Among other efforts, she created AHomeCareCommunity.com to provide a place online for folks in home care to share ideas, offer Best Practices and resources, and to promote events.

She has also started "Monday Moore Mantras." She sends them via email on Mondays, so despite the fact that this blog is being posted on a Friday, here is this week's Monday More Mantra:

Happy New Year!  What a start it has been, and not without excitement.

I have heard from many people that it's no longer time to be complacent.  This is exactly right.  We no longer can expect that things can go positively without us all engaging in this world.

We cannot expect others will speak for our passions if we do not speak up from them ourselves.

This has motivated this week's Monday Moore Mantra:

Do what others won't

My Monday Moore Mantra today is to do what others won't.

If we are wanting to see a change, then we really need to be the change.  If we all do this, think of the change we can see!   Today's mantra is inspired by a quote shared with me from Ken that is from NFL Hall of Fame player, Jerry Rice.

“Today I will do what others won't, so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can't.” “I will do today what others won't, so I can do tomorrow what others can't.” -Jerry Rice
