Social Media "blew up" last week with the tragic news of the loss of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The beloved 87-year-old Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States stood for so many vital issues, most notably gender equality.
On a personal level, and as a woman who has had her name solely on a home and auto loan, I am beyond grateful of RBG's lifetime of working towards positive change. With this year's challenges, it is easy to focus on the loss and not the lesson. However, let us not let forget to continue Ginsburg's legacy.
Lead others to join your fight
In honor of her legacy, today's mantra comes from a RBG quote - "Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you."
Today's Call to Action
There are so many important issues to fight for these days. My long term fight is to engage a home care community that focuses on changing the aging at home process to be a more livable and manageable solution.
What specific thing are you fighting for in regards to home care? Let us know on this week's community forum conversation.
If you haven't already, please check out A Home Care Community and if you feel inspired, become a member! The conversation pages are a big part of the community, so dig into previous conversations or start your own.
With hope and gratitude,
Sara Moore, Chief Operating Officer
