A recent article from Home Care Pulse, called "Top Ten Complaints from Home Care Clients – 2019" shares the results of a recent survey the did in order to determine the biggest complaints that customers in our industry have.
Hearing negative or not-so-great reviews of you, your business, or staff isn't usually fun, but it is important to consider this sort of feedback in order to learn, grow, and ultimately to improve.
Remember, every business in all industries have received complaints at one point or another. The trick is to have an open mind, try not to take negative feedback personally, to put yourself in your customers shoes, and to find constructive ways to address each complaint in order to improve.
I suggest that you read the entire article here, but as a way to get the ball rolling, here are 5 of the top 10 complaints that Home Care Pulse found from their survey:
10. Rude office staff
9. Poor screening process
8. Issues with billing
7. Poor client/caregiver compatibility
6. Caregivers playing on their phones, watching TV, or sleeping while they’re on shift
5. Caregivers are late to a shift or don’t show up at all
