A recent article from Medullan, entitled, "Digital Transformation; It’s Not A Tech Thing" explains what Digital Transformation in healthcare is and offers some examples and suggestions for how to implement digital changes in the healthcare space.
As a start, here's a quote from the article that describes what Digital Transformation is:
Digital transformation represents a complete reconsideration of business strategy, markets, offerings, customer segments, customer experience, operating model, human capital and organizational processes.
While this article isn't specifically geared toward private duty home care, it's always good for us to expand our knowledge-base. Also, the general concepts covered in the article I could be applied to the home care industry.
I suggested reading the full article here, as always, but here's a start with the bullet-points:
Avoid Falling in Love with Ideas
Leverage Experienced Insiders
Use Holistic Methods Like Service Design
Confront Human Capital Issues with Authenticity
Commit and Transition to a Culture of Agility
